Vivek Atray

Mr. Vivek Atray is a former IAS Officer in the Government of Haryana and an advisor to the Chandigarh Administration. His independent advisory role encompasses Mentoring, Investment Promotion, Good Governance, Higher Education, Public Relations, Brand Building, Media Management, Sports Administration, Networking, Events. He is a founder member of the Vibrant Networking Forum, the Chandigarh Literary Society and also the Co-Convener of INTACH Chandigarh.

He is an Electronics and Communication Engineer from NIT Kurukshetra.

He is an acclaimed orator and has spoken at events organized by NASSCOM, CII, TIE, MAIT, NCGG, LBSNAA, IIFT, Vibrant Networking Forum and several colleges, schools and corporate houses. His TEDx talk on the "Ingredients for being an all-rounder in life" and his talks on ‘Bouncing back in life’, Leadership, Life skills, Inspiration and motivation, and Calmness have proved to be highly popular. He is also a lauded writer with a flair for literary expression.

Mr. Atray has won much acclaim for his role in developing the Rajiv Gandhi IT Park in Chandigarh, in his capacity as the Director of Information and Technology, Chandigarh Administration. He also spearheaded the national award winning e-Sampark project, a multi-service, single window e-Governance project. Further, as District Commissioner, Panchkula he initiated innovative projects such as Aadar Samman (Respect for the Elderly) and Village Mentoring.

Mr. Atray has also worked as Advisor KPMG and PwC on a sabbatical from the Government for two years.

His hobbies include cricket and was an under-19 cricketer at the national level. He organizes the All India JP Atray Memorial Cricket Tournament in which over 80 renowned international players have played over the past 2 decades.


Sudhir Baweja

Mr. Sudhir Baweja is the Coordinator, Department of Philosophy and Vivekananda Studies and USOL, Panjab University, Chandigarh

Groomed in and grown with the analytical and critical traditions of philosophy he has been a contributing faculty in Panjab University where he has served for over 35 years by now. With his inherent creative endowments, good training skills, valuable exposures in theatre, advertising, branding and ICT he has accomplished some prestigious projects. He is one of the founders of the first over value oriented course launched through USOL, P.U and had been its coordinator ever since. As the Coordinator of Centre for Swami Vivekananda Studies, P.U. he speared headed the commencement of many firsts like a series of Value Workshops. Youth Leadership Development Programmes and Character education sessions. Has delivered 1000 plus public addresses, invited talks, extension lectures, key note address and motivational lectures. His research, training and consultancy interests include- Branding, Leadership, Motivation, Team Building, Personal Effectiveness, Rural Communication and CSR. Currently he is consulting a Media- Production house/(Rural communication) Agri-input Player (Bio fertiliser) Sanitary fittings (CSR project on Climate Change Reverse) Has an e-book besides having some good research publications to his credit.


Naveen Aggarwal

Dr. Naveen Aggarwal is an Associate Professor in University Institute of Engineering & Technology, Panjab University, Chandigarh.

He completed his Ph.D. from GGSIPU, Delhi and his M. Tech. in Computer Science & Engineering from IIT, Kharagpur. Currently, he is also one of the principle investigators in Design Innovation Centre setup in Panjab University by MHRD. The Different Effort Estimation Model developed by Dr. Aggarwal is appreciated and used by Axede Corporation, USA and Birlasoft Corp. India.

His research interests are machine learning, deep learning, vision sensing and data mining. He has more than 90 publications in different International Journals and conferences. He has more than 90 publications in different International Journals and conferences.


Ranjana Srivastava

Ms. Ranjana Srivastava is the Vice Principal of Government Model Senior Secondary School, Sector 16 (GMSSS-16), Chandigarh. She has been Lecturer with GMSSS-16 since July 2010 and with GMSSS-18 from 2000 to 2010.

She has an MA in Music Vocal from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, India (Class of 1988).

She has a vast experience in teaching and education management having spent over 27 years in the field of education.


Prashant Dubey

Mr. Prashant Dubey retired as DGM (Commercial and Institutional Credit), Bank of India, Mumbai. Mr. Dubey is a profit and ethics driven banking professional with more than 35 years of experience in the banking sector.

He has a M.Sc. in Physics from Barkatullah University, Bhopal and an LL.B. form Jiwaji University, Gwalior.

He is a Strategist, Analyst, Leader, expert advisory to SME on Institutional Credit, and Trainer. His focus areas include SME Banking, Retail Banking, Corporate Banking, Credit Appraisal – Corporate and Retail, Export Banking, Trade Finance, Risk Assessment, Learning and Development. His hobbies include music and public speaking.


Dayanand Tandon

Mr. Dayanand Tandon, is the CEO of CREATE (Centre for Rural Entrepreneurship and Technical Education).

Mr. Tandon is a Post Graduate in Economics and a Certified Associate of Indian Institute of Bankers(CAIIB). Having worked in scheduled bank for 08 years he joined a State level Training Institute of Industries Department as Senior Faculty and worked for 07 years before initiating a Social organization named CREATE in Uttar Pradesh.

With 34 years of experience he specializes in:

• Human Resource Development: Policy interventions, trainings, administration and industrial relation.

• Organizing training programme for trainers and development manager on various social and development issues.

• Entrepreneurship Development and Management Programme for trainers engaged in development work at rural base.

• Promoting Credit and Thrift Groups, training, management and sustainability and Working with children in difficult circumstances.

• Education/training and counseling of entrepreneur backed by service and technology linkages.

• Planning and implementation of large scale social development projects for women and children in education, health and livelihood

Ruchi Garg

Ms. Ruchi Garg is currently employed in Bharat Electronics Limited, as General Manager, heading Strategic Business Unit (SBU) - Satcom and Cellular communication.

Ms. Garg has completed her B.Sc. (Electronics) and B. Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering from Allahabad University, Allahabad.

She has an experience of 31 years in R & D, in the field of communication encryption and commands & control systems development.


Rupak Banerjee

Dr. Rupak Banerjee is a researcher scholar in the field of zero emission transport vehicles. He is currently working in the Mechanical and Industrial Engineering Department at the University of Toronto. Dr. Banerjee’s research has been focused on the visualization of liquid water flows and reactant transport in PEM fuel cells. His work in clean energy has been funded by the US Department of Energy and the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada.

Dr. Banerjee completed his MS in Mechanical Engineering and PhD in Microsystems Engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology (New York, USA). Previously, he received his Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Panjab University, India.

Dr. Banerjee has published 16 papers in international peer reviewed journals and presented at conferences hosted by the Electrochemical Society and the American Society of Mechanical Engineers. Dr. Banerjee is the Track Co-Chair for the “Fuel Cells and other Energy Devices” at the upcoming 2016 ASME International Conference on Nano Micro and Minichannels.
